Abstract

The effects of different drought stress during seedling stage on some enzyme activities in peanut leaves were studied under water control condition. The results showed that the photosynthesis rate decreased, and malondialdeyde(MDA) content increased remarkably with the drought degree raising.Suitable drought(watering 60~80mm) could enhance the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD),peroxidase(POD) and catlase(CAT),and increase the soluble protein content. After full watering, the activities of SOD、POD、CAT,soluble protein and MDA content reduced significantly, whereas the photosynthesis rate improved remarkably.
