Abstract
Analysis is made in this article of the disorder in the translation of names of regular higher education institutions in China,and on this basis,a solution is presented. It's pointed out that standardized translation of proper names calls for the establishment of a special standardization committee and the coordinated effort of Chinese-speaking communities across the world.
