Abstract
Objective:To provide an anatomic basis for studying the relationship between the lumbar spinal never root sheath and lumbocrural pain.Methods:Lumbar spinal nerve root sheaths were observed and measured on 30 adult cadaver specimens.Results:①The length、diameter and incline of nerve root sheaths were gradually bigger from L 1 to L 5.②The length and diameter of left and right nerve root sheaths were symmetrical.③The sheath had 2 apertures at L 1 and decreased to 1 aperture at L 5.Conclusion:①The root sheath is easier to be damaged by the length and diameter becoming bigger.②The vertral and dorsal nerve roots have more chance to be damaged when the apertures is gradually.
