Abstract
A rapid method for the determination of high-content boron in amorphous alloys was established by adopting the inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES) instead of the chemical analysis method. The sample treatment method and the determination conditions were studied. It was indicated experimentally that after being pre-dissolved in aqua regia, the sample was completely dissloved by adding hydrofluoric acid in water bath at 90 ℃.Thus,a rapid determination of boron in amorphous alloys was realized. The coexistent elements had no interference with the determination of boron under the selected spectral line of 182.640 nm.The interference from matrix Fe and Co was eliminated by matrix matching. The high accuracy and precision of this method were proved by experiment. Moreover, the test period of this method was shorter than that of the chemical method.
