Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effects of treating the acute cerebral infarction by the way of the combination of hyperbaric oxygen and drug. Methods 92 cerebral infarction patients matching with the diagnostic criteria were randomly divided into two groups: control group and observation group, both consist of 46.Control group received the routine treatment of drug, and the observation group had been accepting hyperbaric oxygen therapy for 20 days within 2-7 days under the conditions of treatment stress 0.20-0.22 Mpa,both compression and decompression 25 min,and regulators 80 min after onset on the basis of the control group. At the same time, scores of neurological impairment before and after treatments as well as effective treatments were compared. Results There had no significant difference(P0.05) in scores of neurological impairment of both groups before treatments. However, compared with the control group, the observation group improved neurological deficit scores and effective treatments significantly(P0.05) after hyperbaric oxygen therapy for 20 days. Conclusion The use of the combination of hyperbaric oxygen and drug in treating patients with acute cerebral infarction was significantly better than the one of only drug treatment, which can significantly reduce the degree of neurological impairment in stroke patients and promote recovery of motor function, and was low-cost,safe and reliable.
