Abstract

Objective:To investigate the nursing intervention of Chinese herbs acupoint application when treating hyperthyroidism patients. Methods:80 patients with hyperthyroidism were randomly divided into two groups. 40 Patients in observation group were treated with conventional treatments and the acupoint application of Chinese herb for 14 days. 40 Patients in control group were treated with conventional treatments for 14 days. We observed and compared the signs and symptoms changes before and after treatment of the patients in two groups. Results:The acupoint application of Chinese herbs can significantly improve the therapeutic effect of hyperthyroidism. Observation group was better than the control group in the total effective rate(92.5% vs 62.5%,P0.05).Conclusions:Nursing intervention for the acupoint application of Chinese herbs proves obvious effects in the clinical therapy of hyperthyroidism. It is a good nursing intervention that is worthy to be promoted.
