The clinical application of postoperative early enteral nutrition in patients with esophagea cancer

Objective:To evaluate the effects of early enteral nutrition app lied in patientswith esophageal cancer.Methods:86 patientswith esophageal cancer undergone radical resection and reconstruction were randomly allocated into 2 group s(Entoral-Nutrition group,EN group,n =55 and Parentoral-Nutrition group,PN group n = 31).Serum concentrations of albumin,prealbumin were examined before operation and on the 8 th postoperative day;the electrolytes and nutritional status were observed;the postoperative comp licationswere compared.Results: The compilations in PN group were significantly higher than EN group(P0.01);Compared with p reparation,the concentration of prealbumin,serum albumin transferrin were significantly increased after nutritional support in EN group(P0.01).Conclusion:Early enteral nutrition can imp rove the nutritional status of patients with esophageal cancer and reduce the occurrence of postoperative comp lications;Application of postoperative early enteral nutrition in patients with esophageal cancer and cardia cancer is safe,effective.
