Therapeutic analysis of preoperative transcatheter feeding arterial embolization for pelvic tumor

Objective To study the feature of blood supply and the clinical value of preoperative embolization in pelvic tumor.Method Transcatheter feeding arterial embolization was carried out and then operation was performed.Results Although angiography showed abundant feeding artery,selective embolization was successfully completed once.Occlusion of feeding artery,disappearance of vessel stain,and deposition of lipiodol within the tumor were seen after embolization.The tumors were entirely sectioned.Conclusion Preoperative targeted vessel embolization can decrease the danger of operation,increase cut rate and also reduce intraoperative hemorrhage.
