Abstract
The interaction between Sr and B in Al-Si alloy was investigated by observing the changes of the morphology and size of the dendritic a and eutectic silicon phases with prepared Al-Sr-B master alloy as a grain refiner and modifier. It is found that Al-Sr-B master alloy has a strong power of dendrite refinement and modification on the near-eutectic Al-Si casting alloy.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
