Abstract
Soil water dynamic, such as vertical distribution, seasonal fluctuation, annual fluctuation and water-storage, was investigated in Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica plantations with different densities and ages. Result showed that soil water dynamic of pinus sylvestris var. mongolica plantation was restricted by stand density. The stand density of the pine plantation which suit to Xinjiang forest farm of Nehe district was from 625 stocks/hm 2 to 830 stocks/hm 2.
