Thoughts on National Defense Education in Present Institutions of Higher Learning

Abstract
China has a tradition of the national defense education,and since the founding of new China,the national defense education in colleges and universities has become more and more systematic and institutionalized.Compared with the national defense education in some developed countries,there still exist some problems affecting the functions and effectiveness of our national defense education.This demands us to explore some more effective contents and forms of the national defense education to respond to the changeable international situation.
