Abstract
SBA-15 mesoporous molecular sieve was synthesized by a hydrothermal method, and Co-loaded SBA-15 mesoporous molecular sieve was prepared through liquid-phase impregnation method.Carbon nanotubes were obtained by a chemical vapor deposition(CVD) method using the as-synthesized Co-SBA-15 mesoporous molecular sieve as catalyst under normal pressure. The as-prepared samples were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),N2 physical adsorption and Raman spectra. The results show that the Co-containing SBA-15 mesoporous molecular sieve has a specific surface area of 528.6m2/g and an average pore size of 3.14nm.In addition, carbon nanotubes with good quality are successfully prepared, and the obtained carbon nanotubes have clean surfaces without carbon particle deposits.
