Abstract

Geeses paramyxovirus,a new viral disease pathoger,has been reported recently.Two kinds of ages of geese were infected artificially with the fourth passage isolate in the allantoic fluids of SPF chicken embryor,and disease with the same syndroms and pathological changes as natural infected cases could be observed.Mroribility was 100%,mortality in geese 3 month,15 day old were 30% and 100%,respectively.The results further indicated that the paramyxovirus isolate from diseased geese was pathogenic.
