Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effect of the community nursing intervention on the activities of daily living(ADL) in the patients with cerebral apoplexy hemiplegia. Methods: In Gaojing Community, 80 cases with cerebral apoplexy hemiplgia were selected and randomly divided into an intervention group(40 cases) and a control one(40 cases). The control group was not given with the nursing intervention and just with the family natural rehabilitation. The intervention group was assessed with Brunnstrom first and then classified into three stages according to the assessment results and given with the rehabilitation nursing intervention for the different stages. After 3 and 6 months intervention, the rehabilitation nursing daily life events rating scale was used to evaluate the patients' ADL and obstacle degree of the life self-management to observe the treatment effects of two groups. Results: The RNADL scores of the intervention group and the control group were(23.6±15.4) and(25.1±12.5) before the intervention, and(42.7±17.8) and(34.9±19.4)after 3 months and(72.6±14.8) and(48.5±17.2) after 6 months, respectively. The difference of RNADL between two groups had the statistical significance after the intervention(P 0.05). Conclusion: The community intervention has the role in improvement of the overall function and quality of the life in the patients with cerebral apoplexy hemiplegia.
