Abstract

The influence rule of quenching and tempering on hardness of 45 steel in zero time holding quenching was researched by orthogonal regressive principle, and the regression equation of the hardness was established. The results show that within the range of experiment temperature, the higher temperature of quenching in zero time, the lower temperature of tempering, the higher the hardness.
