Settlement Calculation of Highway Soft Foundation under the Changeable Load in Jiang-Zhe Region

Abstract

By making tests and analyses of saturated soft soil, this paper puts forward the calculation theory and calculation methods for soft ground settlement by considering the relationship among coading , settlement and time. The method can meet the requirmerit of intensity control of earth filling and settlement calculation during or after construction of highway with soft ground.
