Abstract

In order to study the hypolipidemic effects of flavonoids from bamboo leaves on hyperlipidimia model rat for lipid-lowering product development,we established high blood lipid model rat and made random groups according to TC level. The TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C levels in serum and other related indicators were determined. After intervention experiment of 4weeks,compared with model group,24% bamboo leaf flavonoids significantly reduce TC,TG,LDL-C and raise HDL-C levels in serum;43%flavonoids from bamboo leaves can significantly increase HDL-C and decreased TC levels in serum.Appropriate dose bamboo leaf flavonoids have significant lipid-lowering effects. The study also found that the concentration of flavonoids from bamboo leaves is not positively correlated with lipid-lowering activity.
