Breeding of Baoyou 85,a Hybrid Rape Variety with High Oil and Double Low Content

Baoyou 85 is a new hybrid variety with high oil and double low content bred from 3945AB(a recessive nucleic male sterile line with yellow seeds and double low content) and D4315R(a restorer line with yellow seeds and double low content).The average yield and producing oil yield is 2715 kg/ha and 1253.85 kg/ha,0.83% and 5.04% higher than CK and the erucic acid,glucosinolates and oil content is 0.05%,19.6 μmol/g and 46.05% separately in the national regional test of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River during 2005~2007.
