Abstract
Yunyouza No.2,a new recessive genic male sterile twoline hybrid, was bred by crossing sterile line 99F121AB with restorer line 99F1549C.The cultivar showed great hybridization superiority, with luxuriant plant and flourish roots. The cultivar possessed of high-yield,stable yield, early maturity and extensive adaptability.Yunyouza No.2 was a good quality variety with oil content of(45.53%,) low erucic content(0.16%) and low glucosinolate content(22.86μmol/g).Its restored plants rated up to 95%.The yield of Yunyouza No.2 was(3 570.9kg/hm~2,) which out-yielded the control Huayou No.3 by 29.13% in Autumn Sowing Regional Test of Yunnan during 2002—2004.In the Regional Test its yield was 5 944.5kg/hm~2 which was the highest among all lines..
