Abstract

This study details a new quick stable assay method for human serum proteins by high performance capillary zone electrophoresis, and quantitating serum albumin at same time.We also analysed the electrophoresis results of five diseases by this method. The data showed good corresponds to other clinical results. The running buffer was 100 mmol/L borate and natrum hydroxide, voltage was 15 kV,with detection wavelength of 214 nm.All the protein peaks could be got in less than 16 minutes. The method had excellent reproducibility. This automated high performance capillary zone electrophoresis method for separation of serum proteins views being suitable for using in the routine clinical laboratories.
