Abstract

Objective To evaluate the Beckman AU5800 automatic biochemical analyzer performance. Methods To evaluate the accuracy, linear range, precision of the instrument and carrying pollution by BECKMAN original biochemical reagents in accordance with the National Committee for Standardization of Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Standard(NCCLS) formulation. Results The precision experiment CV values are less than 5% in the detection of the eight projects of liver meritorious service---Total Bilirubin(TBIL), Direct Bilirubin(DBIL), Total Protein(TP), Albumin(ALB), Alanine aminotransferase(ALT), Alkaline phosphatase aminotransferase(AST), Gamma Glutamyl Transpeptidase(GGT), Alkaline phosphatase(ALP) detection; Linear experimental correlation coefficient respectively is: 0.99, 0.99, 0.99, 0.99, 0.99, 0.99, 0.99, 0.99; Carrying rate of pollution in the determination of the carry pollution rate is low, less than 2%, belong to the acceptable range. Conclusion BECKMAN AU5800 automated biochemistry analyzer has the advertages of a low rate of cross contamination, good precision and good linearity. All parameters meet the demand of design and reach the standards
