Abstract
Objective: To observe the effects of passive smoking on liver function in rats. Methods: Sixteen healthy rats (half of them are male) were delivered randomly into two groups (normal control and passive smoking groups). The passive smoking group breathed into the smoke of tobacco mixed in air one time each day. After fifteen days, G.P.T. was tested. Result: G.T.P. of the passive smoking group was higher than that of control group. Conclusion: Passive smoking causes damage to liver function of rats.
