The Dynamic Evolution of Rocky Desertification in Guizhou During 2005—2010

Abstract
In order to know the variation status of rocky desertification in Guizhou during 2005-2010,the present state of rocky desertification in Guizhou Province during 2005-2010was analyzed according to remote sensing image and karst rocky desertification map is obtained through3Splatform.The results showed that great achievements of ecological construction were made in Guizhou during 2005-2010.There was 2 923km2 rocky desertification less than in 2005,a drop of 8.81%.In spatial distribution,the rocky desertification was severe in the west and south,and slight in the east and north.Moderate and intense rocky desertification turned good and the development tendency was inhibited.The degradation of rocky desertification had certain correlation with the management of regional ecological environment.
