Total Intravenous Anesthesia Induced by Sufentanil and Propofol in Galactophore Operations

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the efficiency and safety of total intravenous anesthesia induced by sufentanil and propofol in galactophore operations. Methods Sixty patients with ASA grade Ⅰ~Ⅱ who will be performed galactophore operations were randomly divided into two groups:sufentanil group(group SF,n=30)and fentanyl group(group F,n=30).Total intravenous anesthesia was induced by midazolam 0.04 mg·kg-1,propofol 3 μg·mL-1 and sufentanil 0.3 μg·kg-1 in group SF and midazolam 0.04 mg·kg-1,propofol 3 μg·mL-1 and fentanyl 3 μg·kg-1 in group F.Propofol was used until operation completion.The variation of blood pressure,heart rate and respiration were assessed at pre-and pro-inducation and discussion,as well as the consciousness recovery was analyzed after operation. Results Both choke and myotonia were observed in 2 groups.The decreasing of heart rates and blood pressure were significantly in group F than that in group SF(P0.05).Respiration depression of patients in group F was more markedly than that in group SF(P0.05).The quality of revival from anaesthesia was no difference in two groups. Conclusion It is a better method of using total intravenous anesthesia induced by sufentanil and propofol in galactophore operations with steady hemodynamics and slight respiratory depression.
