Abstract

The materialist dialectics philosophical system focusing on Qi Xue established by ZHANG Zai opened up a path for study of Confucian classics in Song Dynasty which laid a solid foundation for Neo-Confucianism during the Song and Ming Dynasties.ZHANG Zai's learning style revealed in his philosophy combines his world outlook,Neo-Confucianism with real life which is of great realistic significance.
