Abstract

Objective:To investigate the significance and changes of serum P\|selectin(sP). L\|selectin(sL) and E\|selectin(sE) in patients with coronary heart disease(CAD) and essential hypertension(EH).Methods:Selectin P、L、E were measured in aged 25 patients with EH and 25 patients with CHD,12 controls by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay method. Results:The sP、sL、sE levels of angina pectoris group and EH Ⅲ groups were significantly higher than that in the the controls ( P 0 01),the sP、sL、sE levels respectively were 228±18 6ng/ml,214 7±13 6ng/ml,1061 7±15 2ng/ml,902±28 2ng/ml;87 3±9 4ng/ml,74 4±7 31ng/ml.The more obvious increase of sP、sL、sE was found in EH Ⅱ group and no angina pectoris group(P0 05). Conclusion:Selectin family plays an important role in the occurrence of CHD and EH.
