Abstract
Embodied Cognition provides a new research perspective for traditional cognitive psychology,which emphasizes the pivotal role of the human body in cognitive process.There is a profound philosophy origin about the generation of cognition: it originates from the theoretical basis of the traditional cognitive psychology,namely the critique of body and mind dualism.It has gone through a series of philosophical speculation and theoretical exploration,such as Heidegger's existence theory,Merleau-Ponty's view of embodied subjectivity,Lakoff's and Johnsont's view of metaphor,etc.And then it gradually entered the empirical field.
