Embodied Social Cognition:the New Orientation of Social Cognition Research

Embodied cognition is one of the most important and representative research areas in the context of philosophical epistemology turning to the positivism and the rising of the second generation of cognitive theory.Embodied cognition emphasizes the associativity of human body,movements and circumstances in the whole process of cognition,and embodied social cognition is the outcome of the connection of embodied theory and social cognition.Although social embodied cognition is just initial starting,it has a profound conceptual origin in philosophy and psychology,and the theory of existentialism,phenomenology and functionalism psychology are all its theoretical foundations.Embodied social cognition has made fruitful research findings in the field of positivism and greatly widening the theoretic and positivism facts in the social cognition domain.However,in order to make considerable growth and progress,there is no denying that the social embodied cognition has to solve the problems such as system chaos and the shortage of research methods and scientificity.
