Abstract
Objective To study the clinical effects of the different subgingival flushing in extrasyphilitic syphilitic periodontitis patients. Methods Ten cases extrasyphilitic syphilitic periodontitis patients from September 2011 to September 2012 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,5 cases in each group. The control group were used ultrasonic subgingival scaling, then traditional washing containing 0.2% metronidazole rinse treatment were used to them. The experimental group were used ultrasonic subgingival scaling, synchronization 0.2% metronidazole liquid flush handle. Before treatment and after 7 days of treatment, plaque index(PL),attachment loss(AL),probing depth(PD),gingival bleeding index(SBI) were recorded.Various indicators of periodontal changes in the two groups were compared before and after treatment,as well as differences between the two groups before and after treatment, periodontal index. Results Seven days after the treatment,PL,SBI of the experimental group and the control group, were significantly reduced;after the treatment PL,AL,PD,SBI of the experimental group reduced significantly than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of ultrasound subgingival scaling synchronization washout the periodontitis treatment of syphilis is significantly better than conventional ultrasonic subgingival scaling.
