Abstract

Chlorophyll content is an important indicator to reflect drought resistance in plant.In order to study the drought resistance of wheat and select the strong drought resistant wheat used in agricultural production,six wheat lines and Ganchun No.20(CK) were selected and planted in pot,placed in canopy,by controlling the watering to research effects of water stress on chlorophyll content and ratio of wheat lines.The results indicated that chlorophyll content in blossom period drought were higher than that of in seedling stage drought.In the different drought processing,chlorophyll content decreased in seedling stage drought,with the prolongation of treatment time,but increased in earlier blossom period drought and then decreased,with the prolongation of treatment time and wheat maturing.In different varieties(lines),both seedling stage drought and blossom period drought,chlorophyll content of2010-1,2010-4 and Ganchun No.20 were the highest,that of 2010-8 and 2010-10 were thesecond,and that of 2010-12 and 2010-22 were the lowest.The chlorophyll b had no significant difference among different varieties(lines).Chlorophyll content can reflect the water stress sensitivity in different wheat varieties(lines),therefore,2010-1,2010-4 and Ganchun 20 had strong drought resistance,2010-8 and 2010-10 had middle drought resistance,but 2010-12 and 2010-22 had poor drought resistance.
