Spatio-temperal Characteristics of Intensive Utilization Levels of Urban Land in Henan Province

Urban land intensive utilization is one of the necessary demands for development of cities.Taking 17cities in Henan Province as study objects,the paper carried on analyzing the spatio-temperal pattern and rules of urban land intensive utilization in 1996 and 2006.The results show that:(1) The intensive utilization levels of urban land show a rising situation in the entire province;(2) Compared with 1996,the differences of urban land intensive utilization in various cities have expanded in 2006;(3) In the different research year,the roles that the land input level,the land productivity,the land utilization level,the land eco-environmental quality played in the intensive level of urban land presented the remarkable change;(4) During the research period,there have been the remarkable change scopes of urban land intensive utilization level and its four impact factors,and the change scopes had not completed consistent.Finally,the paper gave some comments and suggestions on urban land intensive utilization in Henan Province in the future.
