Abstract

Al_2 O_3 powder with nano-NiAl_2 O_4 coating was prepared by oxidizing at high temperature. This process was that nano-Al_2O_3 powder was coated with Ni by electroless,and the Ni/Al_2O_3 powder was calcined at 1350 ℃. TEM observation of Ni/Al_2O_3 powder shows the particle shape of Ni/Al_2O_3 is globe with size of 50~60 nm. DTA analysis of Ni/Al_2O_3 powder shows that NiO is prepared at 900 ℃ and NiAl_2O_4 is prepared at 1300 ℃.
