Abstract
The effects of conventional treatment (CT) and superplastic pre-treatment(SPPT) on the microstructure and mechanical properties of 7A04 aluminum alloy were investigated by means of optical microscope, mechanical tensile test, SEM and EDAX observations. The results show that the average grain size of the alloy treated by SPPT is 11 μm, which is smaller than by CT. SPPT makes the ultimate tensile strength and the plasticity of the alloy increased by 3.5% and 25.7% respectively.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
