The Empirical Study on the Relationship of Logistics Development and Economic Growth in Guangxi

Abstract

The paper studied empirically on the relationship of logistics development and economic growth in Guangxi through Cointegration and Error Correction Model based on 1978-2010 datas about Guangxi logistics and economic development.The results showed that the relationship of logistics development and economic growth in Guangxi conformed to Logistics Promoting Theory and logistics had become the bottleneck of continuous economic growth in Guangxi at the same time.It put forward policy suggestions such as changing the mode of economic growth,promoting industrial structure adjustment and speeding up the transformation and upgrading of the logistics industry finally.
