Abstract
The cucumber seeds were treated by magnetic field with different magnetic induction intensity and the drought resistance impact of cucumber seedlings was studied under the drought stress. Increased SOD activity shows that water stress could be alleviated by eliminating the free radical and increasing metabolism. The increasing of proline content indicates that the drought resistance of cucumber seedlings could be increased due to reduction of penetration potential of plant cell. The content decline of MDA shows that,on the condition of drought stress, the magnetic field treatment can reduce the degree of membrane lipid peroxidation.
