Abstract

In this paper the following results are proved:Assume that X=lim←{X_σ,πσ_ρ,Λ},|Λ|=λ, and the projection π_σ:X→X_σ is an open and onto mapping for every σΛ, if X is λ-Paracompact and every X_σ is σ-orthocompact, then X is σ-orthocompact; Moreover, an analogous result of hereditarily σ-orthocompact spaces is obtained.
