The combination of TCM with western medicine in the treatment of 71 cases of mycoplasma pneumonia in children

Abstract

Objective To study the combination of TCM with western medicine (CTWM) in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children. Methods we observed the curative effect respectively between the CTWM group and the western medicine group. Results both of the two group'stemperature drop in normal term in 1-4 days without cough and rales, but the CTWM group's cure time is shorter than control group (P0.01).Conclusion this study suggested that CTWM therapy's curative effect is better than using western medicine only.
