Abstract

Objective To study the clinical effect of FE combined enzymes on pediatric burn. Methods The wounds of 80 pediatric burn cases were divided into treatment group and control group after selecting burn wounds of the same depth with self control. The treatment group was treated with FE combined enzymes, while the control group was treated with Povidone-iodine.Wound healing time, bacterial culture and allergic reaction were observed. Results The wound healing time of the treatment group((10.7±3.6)d) was significantly shorter than that of the control group((14.6±3.9)d)(P0.05).57 cases(71.25%) in treatment group had positive bacteria culture, while 75 cases(93.75%) in control group had positive bacteria culture, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).During treatment,no case in treatment group showed allergic reaction, while 15 cases(18.75%) in control group showed allergic reaction, which was alleviated after stopping Povidone-iodine treatment and changing into vaseline gauze treatment. Conclusion FE combined enzymes can effectively shorten the healing time and control wound infection with significant effect and high safety in the treatment of pediatric burn.
