Abstract

The music art in Gansu and Shanxi area in the Ming and Qing dynasties have many kinds and multifarious content.However,comparing with that of the central plains and inland of China,its development speed is slow,the spreading range is narrow,and the influence to the traditional arts is limited.Investigating its reason,it had relation with the change of social development environment in Gansu and Shanxi area in the Ming and Qing dynasties.
