Abstract

Flow and mixing effect were analyzed by Polyflow simulation for differential twin screw extruder.Differential ratios increased the axis mixing effect(which revealed in the shear rate, tensile rate and the average values of mixing index). The results showed that mixing in axis became better.the shear rate and stretch rate varied to smaller content in cross-plane.
