Abstract

Wen Yiduo is known in the modern poetry for his combined viewpoints,both Chinese and Western as influenced remarkably by John Keats,British poet,in his choice of the way of life,aesthetic principle and aesthetic feature of poetry as well as the means to achieve poetic beauty,etc..However,this assimilation and integration of his is done by means of adhering to the oriental culture and in his answer to various unhealthy tendencies the then new poetry exhibited,which is,in other words,his worthy exploration into the combination of national and modern poetic theory and creation.
