On the Internal Logic of Mencius's Political Thoughts

Abstract

Through analyzing the formation and development of Mencius political ideas,the article is intended to point out Mencius' political thoughts use the theory of innate goodness as its logical starting-points and the theory of benevolent rule and government as its main stroke and core which constitute the basis for Mencius' other political thoughts and his ultimate thought of building a united and well-governed nation.
