UK Sports Management and Evolution of Sports Policy

UK as the world's first capitalist country formed a relatively complete economic system and political system.The model on sports management system and method which UK government achieve the objectives by policies and plans of sports can provide a very useful reference for us. Through a series of analysis and research on modern British sports management and policy,the results showed that: The current UK sports policy emphasizes the amateur and competitive sports of these two important aspects,A Sporting Future for All and Game Plan are major sports policy documents in recent period in UK,the core content is:(1) By strengthening school sport to attract more young people involved in sports;(2) By developing mass sports in the whole society to promote whole-life sports;(3) By cultivating the talent athletes to promote competitive sports program.Although the mass sports are supported by British government all the time,but in recent years,the competitive sports are more emphasized.
