Abstract
[Objective]The interception characteristics of the Cunninghamia lanceolata forest of different densities were studied.[Method]This research selected the different densities Cunninghamia lanceolata forest in ecosystem research station of Dagang mountain,Jiangxi province as the object, and we mainly analyzed the relationship between canopy interception and rainfall, rainfall intensity, rainfall duration, and further campared the interception characteristics of the Cunninghamia lanceolata forest of different densities.[Result]During the observation, the research area total rainfall was 501. 4 mm,the 6 densities Cunninghamia lanceolata forest canopy interception was 55. 8- 153. 6 mm,the interception rate was 11. 1%- 30. 6%,in which the maximum interception rate was N1750,the minimum rate was N2700,the two canopy interception differ by 97.8mm. The three different densities( N970,N1220,N1750) building in 1993 of Cunninghamia lanceolata forest which interception range within the117. 9- 153. 6 mm,whereas in 1981,builting three density(N2700,N3500,N4700) of Cunninghamia lanceolata forest which interception range within55. 8- 78. 9 mm. Under the same rainfall and rainfall intensity condition, the density of N970,N1220,N1750average canopy interception was greater than the other three densities.[Conclusion]Analysis found that stand age has an impact on the canopy interception. There is an intensively correlation between canopy interception and forest rainfall, whereas rainfall have a negative correlation with interception rate. In case of similar rainfall, rainfall intensity have a greater impact on the canopy interception, with the increasing of the rainfall intensity, the canopy interception decreaed. In the case of light rain, with the inceasing of rainfall intensity, the canopy interception increased.
