Abstract
Aimed at investigating the laws of rock pressure in deep mining working face, this paper describes the theoretical analysis and study of Donghai coal 32# seam left 9 working face's roof movement, overlying strata movement, damage, and abutment pressure by combining the method of analog simulation, theoretical analysis, and numerical simulations with field observation and provides the parameters of the roof activity and laws governing overlying strata movement, the scope of destruction, and pressure support. The study concludes that the increased mining depth triggers the increased abutment pressure and the consequent pillar increase, but the roof movement and overlying strata movement show fewer changes than shallow mining. This conclusion provides a reference for controlling surrounding rocks in other coal mines with similar conditions in Longmay Mining Group Co Ltd.
