Cushion technology of rigid composite foundation

Abstract

Based upon analysis of the actions of cushion in rigid composite foundation,which contain the adjustment of pile-soil stress,reduction of stress concentration of foundation bottom,adjustment of the distribution of horizontal load and so on the importance of cushion to rigid composite foundation design is elaborated.Author points out that reasonable thickness of cushion should be selected in design.
