Abstract

Objective:To study the curative effect of endoscopic adenoidectomy.Methods:A retrospective study was performed to analyse the clinical characteristics,therapeutic methods and prognosis from 87 children in hospital undergoing adenoidectomy to treat otitis media with effusion or snoring.Results:The conditions of 87 children were remarkably improved after removal of the hypertrophic adenoids.Conclusions:The removal of the hypertrophic adenoids is a safe and effective method of treating otitis media with effusion and snoring in children.
