Abstract
L. plantarum was isolated from fermented waxy corn. The optimal formula of medium was studied in order to increase the total colonies of L. plantarum. Multiplication culture medium and the effects of different nutrient components on the grown of L. plantarum were investigated and optimized by single and orthogonal de-signs. The results showed that sucrose, yeast extract and KH2PO4 were the optimum factors. The total colonies of L. plantarum were 3.0×108 cfu·mL-1 in the optimized medium which was composed of 2% sucrose, 2.5% yeast extract, 0.2% KH2PO4.
