Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical effects of treating dentin hypersensitivity with three kinds of desensitizer(75% sodium fluoride glycerin,Gluma desensitizer and fluorine protector). Methods The 168 teeth of 86 cases with dentin hypersensitivity were divided into three groups(A,B,C)in random, which were respectively treated with above-mentioned three kinds of desensitizer for one treatment course;later 1 week,1 month and 3 months after the treatment, all the cases were examined and their clinical effects were compared. Results Effective rates in group B and group C were significantly higher than that in group A(P0.01).Conclusion Gluma desensitizer and fluorine protector show better clinical effects, which are suitable for widespread adoption in treating dentin hypersensitivity.
