Abstract

The obervations were made on the stomatal distribution on flag leaf, leaf sheath, neck panicle and glumeof a typica japonica variety-Aklhlkarl through scrape-making methed. The results showed that there were stomaalso in leaf sheath and neck panickle. The stomatal frequency followed an order of flag leaf leaf sheathneckpanicle, the leaf mein vein had largest stomtal frequency in all organs; the stomatal frequency of leaf sheath wasone third of the under side of flag leaves; there was very little stome on neck panicle, no stoma was found in theglume. The stomatal length and width of different organs had significant differences, stomatal distribution in all organswas recounted, micrographics were supplied.
